I've seen posts from family congratulating children for their great GCSE results, even though they didn't take any and have not been at school for 4 or 5 months.
The world has gone mad.

No point in sacking someone if you don't have a better replacement . Having said that  I would say hes on a yellow .

No one ever resigns or is sacked anymore, however great the F@@@ ups and/or shady dealings.

Whatever honour once existed amongst Tory politicians appears to have been shat all over in recent years.

I wonder if these corrupt, self serving Tory scum even know how to spell the word "honour" anymore.

Let's hope if Labour get in they can set a better example, yet knowing what careerist principle-free zones the Blairites often are, I don't have total confidence in that right now.

The public already believe they are all as bad as each other, which is unsurprising considering the nature of both (supposedly) Labour and Tory governments these past 40 years.

And even the Lib Dems - once given a shot at power - proved there was no pledge they would not break, no principle that was non-negotiable, for the trappings of office.
We are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some of us have yachts. Some of us have canoes. Some of us are drowning.
