Well said Boris ,I guess this echo's what the vast majority of Brits think .  His vague threats  that he would be looking at the way they are funded has given them food for thought and his words yesterday were immediately responded to with that it would be back next year in all its glory . Blaming covid and social distancing as the reason for this years decision .

Move along now , nothing to see here .

Boris, is right , we must stop denying our past , and certainly carry on celebrating our glory days . Our history is just that. Our  history for good or bad. Just as it is for all nations.
This though was always a non story . There was never going to be anyone there to sing Rule Britannia,. Another BBC  bashing excise . At the very least a knee jerk reaction , to another Covid, induced decision.
