I take no pleasure at all in the current crop of politicians  of all political parties none of who seem capable of organising a "party" in a brewery.
We used to have politicians who had "got some in," in the way of life experience before entering politics.
Now the majority seem to far removed from the lives of their constituents.
That shows when they stand up to speak in debates in Parliament, they don't have a bloody clue.

So it begs the question of why be on a political forum. If all politicians are rubbish you must just be arguing with yourself. Would you prefer some sort of non political commune with no leaders?

Well, the alternative is someone you approve of and even you must realise how ridiculous that would be.

I made my mind up back in March, Bojo-The-Clown is not up to the job.

Why do that? I made a well intentioned post that I thought was appropiate but you have chopped the most insignificant phras from it and turned it into a pointless BJ/Conservative basher. You complain about boring childish non debate! For goodness sake and my sanity take your own advice. No wonder that I am another poster losing the heart to get involved.

We will be overtaken by the spread, it's inevitable and always was. Herd immunity nationwide is still some way off and this time I feel almost sure that they are hoping to keep other health services open rather than repeat the scenario of last time where every type of medical staff was redeployed for the covid wards.

It all makes sense to me.

Local primary school has an outbreak of the plague and I am staying shielding. A local hotel is shut because of an outbreak of the plague.

Shielding not needed yet, despite rising Covid rate

Shielding is not being reintroduced in England, despite rising levels of coronavirus across most of the nation.

Government advisors say that, unlike in March, there are other protective measures in place - such as the rule of six and the wearing of face coverings in shops - to help reduce the spread.

But people should take precautions to avoid getting Covid.

Those who were on the shielding list will receive a letter about the advice with tips on how they should do this.

The charity Blood Cancer UK said the recommendations were not enough on their own, without financial and mental health support for the most vulnerable.
