Sadly, many are, as shown by the small numbers posting here.

No confirmation that cells have been activated, then. Oh yes, Avignon, another "Lone Wolf" I bet.

There is no sign of the French authorities rounding up the usual suspects. (Yet.)
In the Avignon incident attacking a group of police officers whilst shouting Allahu Akbar was not going to end well for the attacker.

Surely it is better to injure than kill to enable interrogation about other likely contacts who might be planning similar acts.

Personally I will waits until investigations are concluded.  I do think whoever shot and only wounded the perpetrator needs more practice on the firing range.

Unfortunately, Iran and Turkey are taking Macron's stand for Western free speech as an insult to their prophet.

Their sleeper cells are being woken up, it seems.

Some are asking how France can respond to this without offending Muslims.
The fact that question even needs to be asked shows that people fear that they will come to harm if Muslims are offended. For France, it is too late. They have an enemy culture within their secular state which will not be happy until the infidels are gone.

French teachers:
"Can we continue to teach without being afraid of being killed?"

There are around 6 million Muslims in France. It only takes a few to get radicalised to cause problems.

Some are asking how France can respond to this without alienating Muslims.

Edited to "alienating"

T00ts, it seems Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia are the origins of many of the 231.
SW is right, though. Marine Le Pen is doing well in the polls.
France doesn't want Macron any more, I doubt they would want Le Pen for long, either.

Ok but as long as he doesn't fulfil their final destination wishes by putting them in dinghies.

Only 231?  I suspect it is a lot more than that, the French authorities have gone into "Casablanca," mode:-

Coupled with the fact that the fishes might not end up on the little dishes Macron is in for a kicking.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

After the brutal murder of teacher, Samuel Paty, by a Chechen Islamist, the French government will deport 231 people.

They are right. Any one of these 231 could be the next murderer. Why take the risk?
Why indeed and what should happen here, when in Rome and all that......people who are offered shelter as asylum seekers or rock up here for a better life need to respect our mores or sod off.

The German courts  have decided that people need to observe them too

There does come a point where everything boils over.  Macron has been a pretty ineffective leader and weak on several occasions and the people are incensed now. GallIc charm can quickly become dangerous and Macron must fear for the next elections. I just wonder where he will deport these people.  I do hope he's not searching rubber dinghies and measuring the shortest distance across water. He might even escort them with some of his fishing boats.
