Go for it Jog .

Will you be offering other characters apart from Elvis ?   A Henry VIII would be quite good  (I went to his wedding years ago by the way )  and  maybe Ragnar Lodbrok for gay weddings .

I look forward to a full list with venues and prices  ;)

Here we go. Vegas by the River Taff.

Oh god ...

"While rules have changed in Scotland and Northern Ireland, in England and Wales couples must choose between a civil or religious ceremony with an officiant and certain wording, with no option for a legally-binding ceremony reflecting other beliefs"

Now look. A while ago I applied to become a Priest of the First United Church of Cthulhu (registered nonprofit in Arizona for tax reasons) and no one was more surprised than I to find that actually, just like the nonconformist vicar who married me and Moira back in 1981, the law allows me to apply to be my own registrar. I have to demonstrate an understanding of the law as it now stands, maintain records of due diligence in ascertaining the marital status of those asking me to perform what I suppose I should these days refer to as the secular civil ceremony of marriage but these are hardly an arduous task, or requirement is it. The whole point is I must be certain in my own mind the couple before me are of legal age, are free to marry and are both entering into that marriage by their own free will. And the civil ceremony such as it is is utterly bereft of overtones of religion. About the only limitation I would welcome being given the push is the restriction on location. Let us not muck about, if a couple want a ceremony conducted on a windswept headland, why not !
