You do sound as if you are struggling, JoG.
How's your BP?

135/115

Yes I know. The diastolic us way too high. It's all hit and miss. On good days I can actually walk and not notice anything. On other days it could be the slightest effort triggers the chest tightening, and I know what that means. Pretty much any exercise and I'll be in an ambulance receiving my own invention and a stent to follow ....

Borchester

100 yards to the bus stop where I caught a bus to the library.

20 yard to the next stop where I caught another bus to the allotment

50 yards to the allotment gates and then another 100 to my plot.

Started a fire, brewed up some coffee and was soon joined by a neighbour and his son. The neighbour asked what I hoped to do today. I said that I hoped to do sod all other than drink coffee but I had a bed that needed clearing for next month's first earlies. Funny you should say that said my neighbour, because his son was not really into coffee but would not mind doing a bit of weeding in return for a few quid.
So we agreed a price and had a bit of a craic while the lad grafted and the fire burned down. Then I went home and looked at the Amlodipine and Metformin and Ramipril and Atorvastin and a bottle of some other bloody weird stuff I am supposed to take and thought sod it, I have done enough for one day. So I have left it and decided that I am better off chatting to you guys.

And so far I am.  :)

A swift update.

I have literally just returned from a yomp. 100 yards to the river on a flat road to warm up and 100 yards to return is enough to clear thmuck down, and then a further 400 or so yards around a bend including a 1 in 5 hill that rises some four stories in all, and back...

Pulse at the top 91bpm. Oxy saturation 96%

I know where the long covid people are coming from . Lucky for me I got over it after 7-8 months though I still feel like Ive cracked a rib with shortness of breath if I over do it .

As JOG  concurs going for it when exercising isnt advised . Early diagnosis is the key ,too many of us soldiered through the early months when rest   was required .
Long term who knows , the gym beckons (the beer belly is growing into a censored being  ) but Im holding back not sure if that will do more harm than good .

Seven to eight months

Oh shit. I will be dead by then. I have problems breathing in the heat ....

I have only recently found the means to achieve > 200.

I am told by researchers violent exercise to clear the lungs may be fatal. Apparently a precursor ofe melanin may help ..
