I was on my way back from the shop with a young woman with a couple of toddlers behind me, when I reached a bit where the pavement narrowed. So I stopped and got into one of those amicable you go first, no you go first discussions with the lass. And finally I said, to be honest love, my knees are killing me and I really need to swear but don't want to do it in the hearing of you or the children. And she replied.

"That is so sweeet!!"

And she gave me a lovely smile before shepherding the kids out of earshot.

So there you are you sods, I am sweet
