The government's race report has rattled the race-obsessed commentariat like nothing before.

The government's new report on race and ethnic disparities has been met with an extraordinary bout of hysterics. The report's conclusion – that there is no evidence of structural racism in the UK – has sent our race-baiting cultural elites into complete meltdown.

Some have smeared the reports' authors as racist. Labour MP Clive Lewis compared them to the Ku Klux Klan.

Cambridge academic Priyamvada Gopal, also unhappy with the conclusions, tried to smear the lead author. After suggesting the report's chairman – Dr Tony Sewell – did not have a doctorate, she conceded that he did, only to compare him to another prominent 'Dr': Joseph Goebbels.

Both Labour and the Tories have been dehumanising and condemning them for years, so this isn't anything new.  It's just a simple case that if you even mentioned any of this you'd be quizzed as a Nazi.

Having a commission into something means accepting the findings or whats the point in having one ?

You cant just dismiss it because you dont like the findings but then I suppose there are a lot of people out there making a living and in some cases a name for themselves while there are racial inequalities and racism to find wherever they look

By the looks of it those who make a career out of accusing this country of racism aren't happy with the conclusions.  I don't think they will stop.  Race baiting is big business now.

While I believe there has been widespread discrimination to meet quotas and ideologue demands, they're still maintaining that the UK is racist and will obviously throw tantrums until it's a racist country again.

You know how it is, the brothers and sisters are at their usual agitating hoping to point the blame elsewhere, they put up a rubbish Tango and now they are feeling the long arm of the law and nobody to point fingers at but themselves. I guess their handlers are sweating a bit we are waiting to see, who is covering their backsides. Meanwhile the old bill has stopped bashing people on the head with riot shields and populism hasn't been dragged into the gutter.

This report makes me physically sick. 

If people start believing that racism isn't absolutely everywhere and isn't the very bedrock of society, all of my brave work will be for nothing.

Race report: 'UK not deliberately rigged against ethnic minorities'

The UK "no longer" has a system rigged against people from ethnic minorities, a review set up by No 10 says.

The Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities said family structure and social class had a bigger impact than race on how people's lives turned out.

It said children from minority ethnic communities did as well or better than white pupils, but overt racism remained, particularly online.

The Runnymede Trust think tank said it felt "let down" by the report.

The commission was set up after Black Lives Matter anti-racism protests across the country last summer - triggered by the killing of George Floyd in the US.

In the report in Sky News was a reference to finding out the factors which produced high achievement children, then copying it so that other children were the same.
That sounds quite glib, but the fact that high achieving children usually have two intelligent caring parents, maybe a pushy mother - is impossible to replicate through the whole of society.
Levelling up is not always possible.
