Daily Mail sh*t stirring not exactly credible. Because it states on polling cards:- You do not need to take this card with you in order to vote

You must have a large stock of Blue Pencils , I think most of us in here are mature enough to understand how the voting system works that you don't need to have the card with you, as I stated this is an allegation is it happening or not is  that is the question ? I don't know nor do you, will voting fraud take place in that constituency and if it is done will it be enough to influence the result.

As I see it if this allegation is true and these activists are now in possession of Polling Cards they know that there is a good chance the student it was sent will not cast their vote locally gone home for the holidays, simply having the card means they know which polling station and the name of the person who is the electoral roll at that polling station just walk in and give the name on the card they nicked

Apparantly Momentum Activists are campaigning hard on the  Brunel University Campus in the PM's constituency,  there are allegations that they are collecting uncollected Polling Cards that have been delivered to the University intended for students, however it is claimed many of them have already gone home on holiday, and allegedly they are also encouraging students to vote twice.

About time the voting system was made more secure and monitored more closely, postal votes are a weakness in the system IMO

I have had a lot of knock down drag out rows with council officials, it doesn't seem to matter what the political make-up of a council is, incompetence seems to be endemic.

Why am I not surprised

That is the sort of thing one expects from Pappy and his West Country friends.

That said, I once voted twice in the same general election. Once for the SNP in Edinburgh and later in the same day for the Tories in London. It was just a bureaucratic cock up and nothing that would effect the fate of the nation.

Have you a link for that please because as far as I am aware it was cock-up by a council worker that was quickly remedied.

The Labour run Council in Plymouth have allegedly have added 850 Students to the Electoral Register without asking them !! this also is alleged to taken place in Nottingham, Lancaster and London , coincidence ? according to one MP Jonny Mercer when knocking on doors claims 17 year olds have been sent Polling cards.

If this has also happened at Universities and in other Councils it could really upset the apple cart at the GE , especially in marginal seats.
