Yes I consciously do that now and why not?......more Brits should,play silly bugger sand it will cost.
Not that long ago while holidaying in France I got chatting to a French bloke in a bar,nice bloke and he was in business selling relatively high value stuff manufactured in both the UK and France.
He said the quality was equal of both but the UK stuff was considerably cheaper though he always pushed the French stuff.
Also had dealings in past work situations with French visitors,invariably they did the same.
