So Burnham has manufactured a spat with Sturgeon to allow him to demonstrate his prowess as a political heavyweight on the national stage. How long before he fights a Labour seat to become an MP and get directly in the running for leader?

Strangely, while so many people have been criticising Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer's lack of charisma for Labour's poor election showings, the LibDems (led by hardly-bubbling Sir Ed Davey) picked up Chesham and Amersham by turning a Tory 16,000 majority into a 8,028 loss.

So maybe more than just charisma and personality are beginning to be required from a party leader...
On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...
