I'd be over the moon with a hard Brexit, just to shove it up all the Remoaners.  :D

Churchill

That is what the preparations talks by our Officials with the Americans have been about sounding them out what they would like think and what we would like is it feasible, when the time is right proper full blown negotiations will begin if both sides agree

Post-Brexit negotiations will heavily determine the UK's future and that's before we consider whatever the governments domestic agenda is and that is a mystery since they cannot be trusted.

The withdrawal agreement takes us out of the EU but gives very little steerage in regards to what happens next, hence it's a blank cheque for the Conservatives to do whatever they wanr.

I understand you don't care what happens as long as we leave the UK so the issue of what comes next is irrelevent.

And I quote.

It's still unclear what Brexit actually is since this the only thing that has been defined is the the withdrawal agreement.

'Get Brexit done' is just a vacuous slogan.

You claimed it was unclear what Brexit and the WA were, which was rubbish. You now want to blur your error with the post Brexit trade agreement.

And you don't actually know how many trade deals are ready to go, it is reported to be around 18.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Churchill

Wrong you are going round and round in circles getting nowhere, we are leaving the EU a corrupt undemocratic organisation not the planet, I predict that in the not too distant future the EU will fail, as will the Euro which one fails first is debateable , Italy may well be the fist to follow our lead.

Mrs May has never done a deal in her life a second hand car salesman's dream not strong enough and showed her hand far to quickly , she was also undermined by some in her own party and many opposition MP's every day, the Referendum result was simple take us out, the majority have been ignored and still are being ignored.

We have strong Employment Laws on workers right to protect workers enshrined in our Laws they will remain in force, no matter how many times Comrade Corbyn repeats his scaremonger in desperation tactics they will be scrapped.

If he wins next week the Unions who caused havoc and brought the UK to its knees will be back with a vengeance.

Boris is trying his best to sort this mess out and save our democracy by doing what the electorate voted for, we need to get on with it and get Parliament working properly again.

We trade with some not very nice people around the world have done for years, not to do so would damage our economy to isolate ourselves from Europe is not on the cards never has been.

To do any deal both sides have to come to an agreement that works for all involved, the EU has known this from the very beginning they is why they had the upper hand with May, they called her bluff Boris is calling theirs.

Brussels IMO is terrified of our leaving because many millions of people across the EU are not happy with the EU at all they may well demand their Governments have a Referendum and follow our lead

I see that you have fallen back onto the false claim that the only Brexit is a hard Brexit. This seems to be the root cause of why you are unable to understand alternative positions which recognise that Brexit covers a range of choices, and that of those options only a limited number are actually practical options. Hence why Borus was forced to accept an ammended version of the draft withdrawal agreement.

All Mr Johnson appears to care about is firstly himself and secondly his party. The Conservatives have tied their immediate future to delivering a hard Brexit and they'll do that by any means necessary including repeatedly lying and underhand behaviour. A innevitable consequence of the path Mr Johnson is going down is that the UK shifts away from the EU. That's a price he's willing to let the rest of us pay.

If you hadn't noticed everyone of note else thinks the UK has gone mad and has no interest in following in our example of self-harm.

You are stating the obvious that post Brexit the negotiations will go on, our elected Government has been trying to carry out the instruction over 17 million voters gave them to take us out, to date thwarted in doing so by the anti democratic minority against it our leaving who what to stop it.

If and when Boris takes us out there will be some resemblance of order back in the Commons, if re-elected the Government can get on with their main job of addressing internal problems within the UK that they have not been able to deal with for 3 years.

At the same time dealing with the EU to both their and our satisfaction .

If Comrade Corbyn wins the turmoil will continue a second referendum as and when he actually makes a decision, if the Liberals win they will stop Brexit, so bye bye democracy.

It's clearly you who don't understand what Brexit is. You mention the WA as the only thing we know. The WA is BREXIT, post Brexit talks are exactly that, the clue is in the name.

It'a unclear because we've only seen the withdrawal deal and have been left in the dark over what the government intends to do next in regards to our post-Brexit relationships with the EU and rest of the world.

If the Conservatives win they are being handed a blank cheque by a public who largely seems oblivious to the fact that the withdrawal agreement is only the first step of a long and difficult process which could still result in the UK crashing out with no deal at the end of the transition period.

I don't think they were ever Brexit party but more not Theresa May Tories . With The Brexit party seemingly now backing Boris the Tory fringed of the party have just returned home .

For me the more right wing /Brexit supporting conservatives there are in the Tory party the better  . Getting Brexit done might then  just become a possibility

:hattip Yes I do agree! As I've explained elsewhere a vote for the Brexit candidate is a vote for Remain or , even worse, the joke that is Labour's idea of Brexit.

Mrs May sought to keep the UK broadly aligned with the EU in recognition of the reality you describe.

However Mr Johnson is doing the opposite by having moved the commitments to a level playing field (Workers rights, environmental regs etc...) to the political declaration, and dropped the political declaration to remain broadly aligned with the EU.

That isn't the behaviour of someone wanting close relations with the EU.

Over the last three years it is has been said so many times by the Government that they wish want to keep and maintain friendly relationship with the whole of Europe, I don't know how you have not heard it its been repeated so often.

The EU needs to trade with us we need to trade with them it is in their best interest and ours, I voted to leave and want this to continue it would be sheer folly not to do so.
