I just braved heavy rain to make the trip to the Polling Station and cast my vote. I expected it to be rather quiet but the place was buzzing. The carpark was chaotic with people coming and going in all directions. They said it had been pretty much the same since about 7.30am.

I offered my neighbour a lift to find that she had already been - walking in the rain - long may it last. A really good turnout would be great.

I came from a town that we never ever saw a Labour candidate, a Labour flyer, poster or anything Labour at all. Even Tony Blair stood once and we had not the foggiest. I would not mind betting the local polling station is exactly as it was then, and will not see a single Labour vote all night. Ask a resident and the would talk of them as we once spoke of the Germans.

Which may be bad news for Boris. A high turn out usually favours the left. So I am about to stumble off and cast my ballot for the party of fun reactionaries.

There are apparently very long queues at some polling stations.

Just battled through the rain and gale to get to the polling station. Although there was no queue, according to the staff a lot of people have voted already.

The nitty gritty of the trade deal stuff is still there to negotiate. This is the most important issue of the lot. It's a damn tricky one because if we want to trade with them, which we do a lot of anyway, then it could mean going by their millions of rules and blowing our chances of doing proper free trade with other economies. They are serious bitches and many countries have a lot of trouble with it.

We hopefully get a working Conservative government that can say to the E.U.  What you gave us as a minority government isn't good enough so let's cut the bull and parlay. As us winners know the E.U WILL agree a mutually beneficial deal now their feet will be firmly held to the fire.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
