You have the right in a free society to block a road in protest

It really does surprise me that nobody has been run over by an irate commuter .

Sadly as far back as the miners strike it was found that as opposed to direct action as in the case of David Wilkie the perpetrators - but not their communist party officer organisers - could be brought to book, no such action for collateral damage was allowed.


I'm rather surprised there haven't been deaths at the protest lines. They blocked an ambulance already. The images of the public dragging protestors off the road featured an ambulance crew trying to get past them.
