Just been watching the news and a some people smugglers bringing Albanians charged them £15000 each.
How many poor people here could raise that.

Someone needs to get a grip and start returning these people.

Believe me Baz I have been in my local council offices supporting British nationals struggling to get what's theirs by right when in walks lawyer with several asylum seekers in tow waving his legal papers and are given priority.

Ah, now I get the Christian convert thing. If an asylum seeker is losing the game with the government, if they either say, or have evidence that they have converted to Christianity they cannot be safely sent back to a Muslim country, as they would be persecuted as a heretic to Islam.
Whether their conversion is genuine, or not, only they know.

As for section 4 support I can't see how he qualified for that, and even if he did he would lose it after 28 days into a 6 month section.

Being entitled to something from the benefits system does not mean anyone will tell you are, (it is highly unlikely the DWP will,) even if you do know being entitled to it and getting it are two very different things.

Well men of 20 and over have pretended to be children and ended up in schools where even the kids have avoided them as being too old. I just wonder who the numpties are that are taken in so easily. I reckon they are coached in all sorts of ways to make the 'best' of their arrival.

(Assuming he was ever paid any benefit in the first place or are you just assuming he was paid benefits, because access to benefits for a failed asylum seeker are very limited. (Which is probably why he was being housed by two "do gooders.")

No it doesn't being sectioned only means you are compulsory committed to a psychiatric unit and have no say in the matter.
once released from that part of the mental health act does not mean you are no longer deemed to have mental health issues and as a failed asylum seeker are still eligible for benefits.

Sports shop Decathlon has announced it will no longer sell canoes in northern France to help put a stop to migrants desperately trying to cross the English Channel, it was reported on Tuesday.

"The purchase of canoes will no longer be possible" in retail outlets in Calais and Grande-Synthe, near Dunkirk, "given the current context," Decathlon told news agency AFP, confirming French media reports that emerged earlier on Tuesday.
