Well, the Republicans have The Hill and Biden is congratulating them and looking forward to working with them.

Personally I think they should crucify the guy. But wasn't his running mates plan all along to get the big chair by tipping him out of the mobility scooter down the steps of Airforce One

But I think his son might be needing to borrow my man cave. I found it while testing radar off the Isle of Wight in the 90s. Under the cliffs at Freshwater round the corner from the Needles is a small cave which thanks to the alum salts in the rock is a dead zone to most forms of RF I've worked with. Cellphones won't work there. Neither will satphones, and military radar can't penetrate the metallic rocks. The perfect hideaway.

As I've said before when Trump stood last time I took an interest in American politics for the first time ever as it seemed my youngest might be marrying a yank. That never happened and maybe that's for the best really but my digging into the options led me to believe a vote for Trump then was the only sane thing to do.

Because the SANE thing was never to have let him get the nomination, but once he had, the choice between him and a woman prepared to stay married to a cuckold with the strangest definition of not having sex I ever heard, in order to keep her grip on power was a no brainier.

This time round, I hope they get their act together. Because if you think what the Republicans are gonna do to the mental health victim they have in the White House now is vicious, you wait to see what happens in 2026.

Indeed , when Trump says he is going to run he means he is going to run for the Rebublican nomination . Which hopefully gives the younger people a chance to break into the old peoples home .

Aren't there credible alternatives this time? Younger, more intelligent I thought I saw. They would be silly to nominate him again. Presumably he needs to go though that process again doesn't he?

It really is an indictment of US democracy that in a nation of more than 300 million people, the best choice they can come up with is Biden or Trump.
