For followers of Cricket this is an embarrassment off the scale . When your  3rd top scorer is no ball you have serious problems

Maybe we play too much of the shorter versions of the game .Too much emphasis in hitting the ball hard and trying to score off every ball rather than the technicalities of the game that are needed for test cricket .

The excuses were logged early , isolation , not enough warm up matches , covid ect but really the performances have been abysmal .

This team  should have their passports confiscated , the nationality removed of those with somewhere else to go and the rest brought home in disgrace never to play cricket for England again .

I have to say even I could do better and I only ever played in the "B" team of a Milton Keynes Sunday league company side. But I have whacked fours to the boundary, sixes to the car park and brought down an irritating hot air balloon.

And the A side's bowler that got me out ? I never saw the damn ball I heard the tiniest of clicks and just knew.

Funnily enough in those days I stayed at a farmhouse b & b whose owner was the village cricket club captain and a member of the MCC.

That was not a year to be a supporter of Welsh Rugby. Western Samoa is all I will day. John jokingly mocked that it was just as well they didn't brink the rest of the Samoans with them. He's long gone now but if he were not, I would not have the heart to return the favour, as it seems simply too cruel.
