Ok, some punctuation then. Your post made me think you had a yacht fitted in your kitchen and from your various posts on DIY I had to stop and think ....
If they wind gets any stronger, a yacht in my back garden would not surprise me.

No spelling correction needed it is a two ring gas hob usually fitted in a yacht. It has a smaller "footprint" than a normal domestic one.

I didn't say that I didn't shop at Lidl, just that I dump my rubbish in the bins outside Waitrose.

Do you want to see the Fortnum and Mason carrier bags madam takes with her when she shops at Aldi? :)

I'd be more impressed if you took Aldi carrier bags into fortnum and masons. We don't have one here, but we do have a pompous prick in Abergavenny whose name escapes me. We take a few in there for m time to time.

No what you looked up was your own bottom and failed to recognise what was lurking there and subsequently decided to post it.

Cromwell I looked up the regulations for the disposal of Lithium batteries and if you bother to look at the container for used batteries at Supermarkets they show what batteries can be accepted. Also the battery pack from a kindle won't fit through the slot.
It is you who don't know what you are on about lithium batteries are a dangerous fire hazard.

Your usual I can't be wrong
I checked the disposal regulations and the boxes at local supermarkets, you have obviously done neither.
It will have to wait for disposal until the local reclamation depot is open. (Which due to the dire weather warning is shut until next week.)

Your usual I can't be wrong and like the pope are infallible, have you seen the size of a battery out of a laptop,or a burglar alarm never mind those in power tools compared to a kindle which is wafer thin?

So what are you saying Tesco are lying and only posted that document a while ago and somehow knew this thread was going to appear in the future so decided it would be fun to annoy you and you have the sheer effrontery to accuse other members of this forum with idiocy.

For gods sake for once in your life grow up and admit you are wrong.

When I was first transferred from shop floor to head office job I was eventually called in by impersonal dept to ask why I had no briefcase and used a Tesco carrier bag,I wont repeat my reply on here but suffice to say I stuck with the carrier bag.  :D

QuoteTesco is part of a compliance scheme and offers battery-recycling points at Express, Metro, Superstore, and Extra stores. In 2020, 566.57 tons of batteries were collected in Tesco stores.
You can recycle all household batteries at our recycling points, including AAA, AA, C , D, 9 volt, button and those from appliances such as mobile phones, laptops, hearing aids, watches, cameras, cordless power tools, electric toothbrushes, razors, toys, burglar alarms, and hand-held vacuum cleaners.
Lead acid batteries from cars are not suitable for instore recycling points.

Kindle battery packs need to be taken to a special recycling plant due to the fire risk.
