No, I'm not. The link I gave included Duty and VAT giving the percentages.
The interactive chart below shows how taxation on petrol and diesel (duty and VAT)

How is cheap fuel related to Brexit, have you some evidence of a trade deal whereby the UK is buying cheaper fuel ?

It's starting to sound like anything good=brexit, anything bad=covid.

As for that chart you published, there are 20 countries with cheaper fuel cost prices and 7 more expensive, but all 27 have a cheaper overall price.  I am at a loss as to what your trying to show.

You asked somewhere for proof of brexit problems, here's

The Digby Jones Jobs lost index, 277 examples   https://yorkshirebylines.co.uk/regular-features/the-digby-jones-index-2/
The Davis dossier of "no downsides"  535 examples  https://yorkshirebylines.co.uk/regular-features/the-davis-downside-dossier-2/

Just to be balanced here's the UPSIDES list, 18 examples    https://yorkshirebylines.co.uk/regular-features/the-davis-downside-dossier-2/#DDDUpsides

Are you sure about that Nick, IRL puts 55.25% tax on fuel. UK diesel is 54.65% and 55.65% petrol. That's without checking other EU countries, so your statement is false, as usual.

https://www.racfoundation.org/data/taxation-as-percentage-of-pump-price-data-pageIf you travelled, 1000 times you would know. I lived in a country that did just that, Very simple the insurance covered you for the country. I guess if you wanted to bring the car out of the country you could get more insurance, but I never tried. It was a govt scheme, basic 3rd party cover, the more you drive the more you pay.

The point was, you crowing about cheap fuel, as if it's some sort of economic indicator is comical.
What's next, compare the price of carrots or cod, the UK could have the best economy in the world. :D

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Please show me how 3rd party insurance off fuel works, I've never heard of such a thing. Also on top of these prices the whole of the EU pretty much has tools on every motorway.

What does that prove, some of the countries above the UK have far higher earnings. Others put 3rd party insurance and road tax into the cost of fuel. Others add alot of VAT onto the fuel, What are you trying to prove with this comparison ?  it's comical.

When ever the price goes up, it must be Brexit according to the Remoaners, we'll take a look.

Not only are we no where near the top of the list of Fuel, we are the only European nation with prices coming down!!
