I know its behind a paywall , but from the coments i saw , i gather this has made the news as someone was attamepting to blackmail him apparently so he has" come out " before he was outed.

The blackmailer must have been a right dipstick that he thought anyone cares . Wallis  might have got , well would have got some grief a few years back but not today .
 We have  Eddie Izzard as a regular at the Palace ,it was quite bizzar a couple of years back when he did a lap of honour after completing 26 marathons in 26 days in a dress and heels to riotorous applause . If you can get away with it in a football stadium I guess its accepted .

When this type of 'news' comes up I think ,does anyone care ?  What makes Wallis think its anyones business but his own to declare to the world he wants to turn into a Woman ,or that he is a woman or is it a bit of both ?  Fecked if I know  but it seems people who stray from the norm are the most vocal with regard their sexuality .

When I was a young kid I wanted to be a train driver.....never did though but did a lot of different things and now I'm a mod on here and some people despise me Ive been told

Conservative reveals rape and blackmail ordeal as he becomes Britain's first openly trans MP

A Conservative MP has announced that he is transgender and has been the victim of rape and blackmail.

Jamie Wallis, the MP for Bridgend, said he was transgender, "or to be more accurate, I want to be", and had been diagnosed with gender dysphoria.

Wallis, 37, said he had "felt this way since I was a very young child" but "imagined I would leave politics well before I ever said this out loud". Wallis, who won his seat at the 2019 general election, would be Britain's first openly transgender MP.
