 11 women are in El Salvador prison charged with similar offences . 

Its a basket case of a country that is a regular on the  human rights abuse list . This story has more to do with the goings on in the US than bringing attention to the poor womans fate

Absolute madness. 
I was in Dubai years back and a woman was raped. The rapist got lashes and the woman was jailed for having sex outside of marriage!!
