If Labour and Conservatives can work together to run council services well then surely that's a good thing on a local level.

Could be , but the big problem in that for labour is saying the tories are evil to all and sundry while going into coaltion with them doesnt play well with voters.

The pertinent point obviously is the fact we are told labour are going to go into coaltion with the snp at westmisnter , and as i always point out i doubt very much this will happen . Brit nats much be praying the liberals take enough seats to go into coaltion with labour without the need of the snp.

Labour stand shoulder the shoulder in scotland with the tories , and wonder why they can't pick up the progressive left wing vote , while in england tell everyone the tories are evil.

As for michelle o neil , she is the demcoratically heir elect to the northern irish first minisnter post , and she has met both sturgeon and your prime mininster johnson.

I like michelle o neil. The only people in scotland put off by sturgeon welcoming o neil are the hardcore orange mob who wont vote for the snp anyway.

Despite anas sarwar , the labour branch manager saying labour wouldnt enter into coalition with the conservatives to lock the snp out of scotlands councils , thats exactly what the labour party have done.

This has been sanctioned from the highest level by anas sarwars boss keir starmer down in london .

I wonder what the forum labour party supporters think of this?

Remember some of the labour party supporters on this forum have been telling me how labour  , who are that shite the best they can hope for is a coalition at westminster , will go into coalition with the snp and others to oust the dreaded tories and make everything right again with the world  , yet in scotland , they hate the snp that much their morals and political values , such as they are , are cast to the wind in favour of british nationalism and the union , where they walk hand in glove with the evil tories ( no laughing please) to keep the snp and dreaded scot nats out.
