In short the main threat to his job derives from his own behaviour and clearly displayed character flaws.

He has turned himself into a liability for the Tories, and is surviving only because of the stupidity of too many of their MPs in refusing to recognise this obvious fact. But ever more disasters like Tiverton and Honiton and Wakefield must surely be having an impact on even the thickest skulled Tory MPs. Right now they look like donkeys led by an ass.
We are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some of us have yachts. Some of us have canoes. Some of us are drowning.
