Isn't this what they actually found?

American politics, completely polarised under a belief whoever is in charge rules the world.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

I don't get the impression that Johnson and Trump are all that similar.

Johnson is an opportunist who blunders his way through the day by means of a booming voice and lots of boolsheet. A bit of an irresponsible Hooray Henry type.

Trump is an out-and-out nasty man who thrives on creating confrontation by fair or foul means. It's the only thing he's good at, so it's become his USP.

Boris may not be quiet as crude as Trump, but in many respects he has gone down much the same route. For a start he has ridden on the same strategy of him and the people against the established form, not strictly the establishment because that is always split any way. In Boris,s case traditional parliamentary process, and the legal structure around that process. A disregard for normal legal process, is shared by both. Trump ,questioning the  integrity of the whole US political system. Boris, as Trump relied on the unswerving loyalty of his support within the party regardless of all indiscretions.
The electorate got Trump, the Public got Boris, both took advantage of the frailties of democracy , rather than improving democracies future prospects.

Trump is an idiot,a dangerous one at that.....he won an election fair and square and then lost one in a similar fashion.

The US is indeed an asylum but so many of Trumps supporters are as thick as the proverbial plank and believe the crap he spouts that he was robbed,if they elect that buffoon again they deserve all they get.
Energy....secure and affordable, not that hard is it?

It seems that the Whitehouse is so scared of Trump's continued popularity that the FBI is now turning over his home looking for high security documents. ...snip... Trump if found guilty would remove his chance to stand for election again.

If ever there was a formula for increasing their popularity!
The FBI have said they recovered a lot of empty folders.

Yes, I can see that — as I guess an old man's pussy grabbing remarks might not go down so well in your part of the UK.

However, siding with Trump's views could put you in danger of allying you with such admirers and sympathisers of his as Alex Jones, Nigel Farage, Viktor Orbán and Boris Johnson...
I have no idea why you quoted me.
Perhaps you could expand on your unrelated post, as I have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe stop speaking in riddles and going off at tangents.

Maybe it is a conspiracy to help Trump in his campaign? Who knows with the asylum which calls itself the US of A?

Having the FBI raid your home is never a good thing, but for Donald Trump it may prove a blessing in disguise.

Mr Trump hasn't seen such an outpouring of support from senior Republicans in a long time, and the incident looked set to light a new political touch paper that could propel him to the party's presidential nomination in 2024.

The former US President is now, in the eyes of many Republicans who were shying away from him, the victim of an egregious attempt by a Democrat administration to politicise the justice system.

As one former Republican official put it, if Mr Trump is not now convicted of a crime, then "you've martyred him and guaranteed him the Republican nomination".

I would prefer him not to stand, but endorse a younger candidate with similar right leaning objectives.

On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

Borchester

We ought to be grateful to Boris.

Trump is crazy and Biden is dead.

Bojo is the only one making politics fun.

It seems that the Whitehouse is so scared of Trump's continued popularity that the FBI is now turning over his home looking for high security documents. Here Parliament - namely Labour - are so scared of Boris' popularity, they are holding an enquiry where many think the rewriting of the framework of the investigation presupposes a guilty verdict which some think is already decided, even before the inquiry starts. This would remove Boris from his role as MP. Trump if found guilty would remove his chance to stand for election again.

Boris Johnson misled Parliament on partygate, Downing Street ex-staff to tell investigators
