Not having sensible reserves of medical equipment and facilities ready for an emergency (minimum requirements already identified), shipping the old and vulnerable out of hospital into the line of fire, despite the warnings, not taking note of warnings given by expert advisors, ignoring sensible advice and supporting cronies despite the evidence, presiding over a breathtaking high death count, appointing incompetent supporters to key roles to get Brexit done, Chris Pincher, Owen Patterson, Dominic Cummings, breaking lockdown rules, total lack of focus........

Do I need to go on? There's plenty more to be brought into the harsh light of reality.

The guy's almost gone. For that we should all be thankful. Our concern is now over who replaces him. Some of the worst case replacements are not, or no longer, standing. Let's hope Truss doesn't make it through. But with May and Johnson on their track records, Tory MPs an party members don't seem that reliable...
I am fairly sure Boris employs people to do things like setup emergency stock and the like, same as every other government going back as far as the eye can see. But it's Boris's fault.
As for the other stuff, Boris followed the data coming from the chief scientific and medical officers. If he hadn't you'd have been saying he failed to follow the data.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Not a bad idea Pat. After all, the NHS employs nigh on 2 million people. Surely might have noticed that the reserves of whatever were running low and that it was time to order some more.

We know that everyone in the NHS is overworked, underpaid and due for canonisation, but no one take responsibility for anything anymore?

Like what?
Boris has made some gaffs, but terms of getting things right I think the government has done a great job.

He and they have. Boris and his government have done well. Unfortunately the country is suffering from an outbreak of priggishness, so it is goodbye Boris and welcome the Invisible Man.

As I have probably said, in a week or so Sunak will have to face the grassroots and explain to them that raising corporation tax is a good idea.He will probably get away with it, but get a hiding on the way.

In short, convenient excuses.

I cannot remember another UK administration that blames so many of its mistakes and shortcomings on other events  or people...
