Until Choudary oversteps the mark (whatever those in power decide it to be at that time), surely freedom of speech is sacrosanct — unless, that is, if the New Puritans of Right and Left only accord such freedoms to those who voice their views...
He already did overstep the mark and should have been gone when he came out of prison . That being said he is still here and of course freedomof speach should always be defended until such times he does it again which doesnt look too far away .

Another speaking ban can not be far away for this cretin . A prime example of why deporting second generation dual national undesirables should be looked at

Anjem Choudary pops up out of the woodwork. Apparently he speaks for Allah.

QuoteChoudary is calling for 'Muslim patrols' to be organised in Leicester. 'If anyone attacks you, retaliate,' he declared, quoting Allah.

Were you never at the Den when the ground emptied and the police moved in with their horse sticks because, well, if you didn't do anything you probably meant to and here is something on account?

This site is getting very old and sad.
Its why you always used to take a bag of marbles to the Den  ::)

I never professed to have an answer, but I did set out what I understood to be a cause.

As to your own faith, it doesn't affect me, as it's up to you.

But if you publicise certain beliefs and make comments within the topic of a thread that appear in contradiction to a common perception of Christianity, I don't think remarking on them should be out of bounds.

Besides, it wasn't me who moved the debate on to the personal — though I'm happy to offer further observations if you think they'll get us anywhere...
Anyway meanwhile, the media in their usually lazy style have caught up.

Oh good. You haven't got an answer but take an opportunity to have a go at my faith. It's why I ignore most of your posts.

Difficult to know how to respond to such an accolade from someone whose Christianity views Enoch Powell as a prophet...

Seems like the problem is politically based with Hindutva Indian nationalist fascists spreading their EDL-like activities into other countries and targeting Muslims.
Congratulations! The culprit has been identified and merely needs eliminating. Then everyone will be safe. Thanks P...P...

If only it were just that Borchester that might well be the excuse, but it runs much deeper than that, as any Asian knows for themselves.
I just laughing at the Labour(now denounced for having personal problems) East MP, apparently this is all the fault of the far right, well it would be and telling us this will spread to other cities, when it already has spread to Birmingham, Claudia is a fricking witch she can see the future. Pity she didn't when the borders were wide open.

The worrying part is that a significant proportion of those arrested appear to have travelled into the area.

In a way, Leicester has become a bit like Belfast or Glasgow where, until recently, people were challenged as to their religion and beaten up if it was the wrong one...
