The inside man.

I've had 3 interesting conversation so far, all skirting around the Ukraine issue. 
The first thing to note is the perception on the inside, which is that Russia is under attack from the USA and the U.K. Not regions but 2 very specifically named countries. 
Another thing is that I was asked specifically by an economist why when 2 countries were fighting that the U.K. has taken sides, I took the path of least resistance and said I didn't know. 🤥 
The third conversation was with someone who openly used the W word and wasn't aware of the punishment for doing so. 

I will at some point be going to have a look at the supermarket situation in the next few days but my initial view is there isn't much in the way of shortages.
