I never have any problems with nights out, in fact I get invitations to events/parties/gatherings the are invite only.  (The one last weekend was good and if the weather does not turn foul the one next weekend will be as well.)

Christ, ain't that the truth. You can't tell anyone on the politicsforum to f**k off without them throwing a strop. It is like a night out with Pappy and where everyone is so timid that they don't realise that Patman Post is actually taking the piss.

Shame really. It used to be pretty good, but the British have a secret hankering for respectability, and that always f**ks up any decent forum.

I think Steve feels the need to recharge his batteries, but will, as Barry said, probably return in few weeks

For the sake of clarity and unusually a mod decision will be explained.

All the aggro such as it was started on the thread "Whose side are they on" and a few posts were moved to off topic to the tower thread,I received several PM's stating remove sheepys posts or else I'll leave.

I don't react to do this or else other than to totally ignore it.

Following recent events where everyone had an opinion on moderation that it was too harsh I decided that the posts be left visible but in the off topic thread as it was a case of six of one and half a dozen of the other and was imo initiated originally by Srb and is where thay are for all to see now.

I might or might not be a **** as described and don't really care,it's not a popularity contest but modding is an attempt to keep the forum free of too much aggro.

I'm not asking for appreciation or sympathy btw and inevitably should the majority of the membership request a new mod via Nick that's fine.
