I don't bother with blood transfusion pleas because I know they could carry out certain processing that would extend the shelf life fourfold. If they can't be arsed to do that and rely on idiots believing they need fresh stocks every 14 days well who is the mug here.

I do recall certain of the consent forms I have been asked to fill in over the years have asked 'to the best of your knowledge is their any possibility you might be pregnant' to which I have always put something like 'I'm an (x) year old father of two (in more recent times I changed that to just "grandfather") and went on "if I am, you should call The Sun and I'll split the fee they offer for my story"

No one has yet refused to operate or medicate on reading my response. One or two have looked up The Sun's News Desk number and written it in the form next to my reply 'just in case'.
