The thing is, Thatcher engineered a situation where the Argentinians thought they could get away with invading the Falklands and sent a naval force AND a wing of our NUCLEAR bombers to raise hell and sang and danced as the combatants died.

Sending the Vulcans was absolutely vital as it sent the message we had the means to NUKE argentina.

The problem with tbe current shower is Putin has no reason to believe we will reduce Moscow to radioactive ash.

Admittedly it would be nice if I could use the electric lawnmower without it shorting out, but Spring is on its way and no one is likely to die of the pneumonia. Still, that is Johnny Foreigner for you.

He isn't that stupid to do anything like that, he knows Moscow would be a wasteland by the time the fireworks stopped. And also, Mr Ping has categorically warned Russia against anything concerning Nukes.
