I fully expect some remainers to say: That makes 133% of people who want another EU referendum.

I don't seem to be able to find a link to the poll itself on the website. What is the source?

Javert

Where's the details of this poll and the methodology?  It's out of line with most other polls and even just from the questions in that article, the polling method looks suspect to me.

Nick

I can't believe they keep wheeling that bloody Anna Soubry out and she has a total majority of zero.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

T00ts

I can't see what we would be voting for in another ref now to what we had before. Each time they mention the deal, or what we know now , I glaze over because it's a lie. We haven't got any idea what the final deals will be, or what any trade deal will look like or what our relationship with the EU will feel like.

All the difficulty so far has been over a withdrawal deal. What is that? Nothing more than an interim plan to cut the chains. How can that be presented as any sort of fait accompli?

Why is no-one calling them out on it when they spout this rubbish in interviews?

You know what Thomas they are either totally delusional or so feckin hard faced that they think we're buying all this crap from them.

I looked at the HoC today and thought it's not just a Westminster bubble but another dimension where all they want they will get and nobody will notice or complain.

Yeah  Thomas I reckon they also go for another extension, ten years would do like most people sick of the whole debacle,

They are laughing just now cromwell , but that laughter will only last at most another 2 years and a bit.

Eventually they are going to have to face the music.

The polling for labour and liberals at the moment is lamentable , if they dont brexit as i keep saying , they are going to get absolutely hammered in the polls and johnson and his tories know it as well.

QuoteAnd as the SNP in particular devotes huge amounts of energy to trying to stop Brexit, against the wishes of its own voters, we wondered how the public not just in Scotland but in the two constituent nations of the UK that voted Leave felt about that.

Numerous polls have previously found that English voters are willing to offload the rest of the UK in the name of Brexit, but until now the margin had been fairly close. Now, however, England is running out of patience. By a resounding margin of 55-36, English voters now prioritise getting out of Europe over hanging onto their Celtic cousins.

(In Scotland, meanwhile, the vote was close to a three-way split between getting out of the EU, staying in the UK, or doing neither.)

Unsurprisingly the vast majority of Leavers put Brexit first. But more soberingly, even among Remain voters a substantial 28% would rather just get Brexit over and done with once and for all than worry about hanging onto Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland – and another 16% of Remainers (or 12% of the ones in England alone) don't want to keep the UK together at all.

Because for all their demands for a second referendum, neither Labour nor the SNP even know what they'd want on the ballot paper yet. And whatever they chose should the situation arise it'd leave a lot of people angry.

They dont even know what they want on the ballot paper of a hypothetical eu referendum the majority of the public dont back .

If it was down to remain politicians  i guess the only choices would be remain or remain.
