Today is the 208th anniversary of the battle of Trafalgar

LOL ,the Guardian have missed a trick here as Trafalgar is right up their street . If they were not so busy poo pooing British history and stopped to read about it for a change they would find the crew on the ships was a smorgasbord of international sailors . Indeed many Africans joined up to avoid or remove themselves from slavery ,for as soon as the stepped aboard a British ship they were free men .
In service to the crown of course but free none the less
