To quote the bog wall graffiti. Gravity is a myth, the Earth sucks.

I was 10 G&T's in at that point 😂

Cheers ....

It's a shame he didn't get high enough to see the giant cats pushing everything off the rim

The thing that does interest me though, if the earth is flat, and its gravity originates from a flat sheet, how bloody dense must that stuff be !!

Nick, i think you mean around.

....its only about 8000 miles across.

And thinking on from my last post in here, this is a problem for all of us.

I think the guy was barking, but allowing him to pursue this lunacy gave the like minded a place to put their support. Any attempt to interfere with that risks a backlash.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

It's amazing the level of gravity a thin disk of earth can produce. Imagine how much a sphere 22,247 miles across can produce. 🙄

Oh no !

Seriously, all joking aside, my fear is that in the wake of this, all manner of elfin safety restrictions will be brought in.

A US daredevil pilot has been killed during an attempted launch of a homemade rocket in the Californian desert.

"Mad" Mike Hughes, 64, crash-landed his steam-powered rocket shortly after take-off near Barstow on Saturday.

A video on social media shows a rocket being fired into the sky before plummeting to the ground nearby.

Hughes was well-known for his belief that the Earth was flat. He hoped to prove his theory by going to space.
