A tale of two lockdowners..

The chap next door is in the media. Exactly what he does I am not overly sure,  but he seems to spend most of his time walking up and down on his veranda and roaring into his mobile about the need to have sit downs and face time and all the rest. Needless to say, Madam schlepped next door and found the chap's girl friend on her knees and praying for an end to the lockdown so that her lad could go to work and do nothing productive out of her sight and range of hearing.



Meanwhile my mate the gas priest turned up to fix the boiler. He cleaned all the filters, replaced the inlet valve, took a couple of calls from other customers, bitched about my coffee, took 140 quid off me and was on his way within an hour.



By rights I reckon that the world should belong to gas fitters, but sadly I can't see that happening for a while
