Yours might.

The chap with an earth covered dome in the pembrokeshire national.park would have been street (ok FOREST legal) had a tornado ground recon flight not picked up the suns reflection off his tiny windows....

Ah well. We will see....

The local council uses high resolution pictures taken by a Russian satellite to spot planning infractions and other issues. It is cheaper than a large compliance staff.

Cummings had barely crossed the threshold before the locals were demanding their ten minutes of fame and free decaff cappuccinos from the Guardian.

Neighbours like will grass you up if one of the garden gnomes looks  ill feed, so I reckon Cummings must have planning permission

<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

TBH I wouldn't really believe a word that Cummings and his wife said in this whole saga.

It was so obvious that they were telling lies about it that it's entirely possible the cottage doesn't even exist and they were staying in the house.  Since there are not sufficient grounds to go and search the house, they know that we will never be able to check.

What's clear is that various elements of Cumming's story are so preposterous that they cannot be true, and for example he gave two incompatible accounts of his trip to Barnard Castle during the same 1 hour meeting, so one of them at least must be a lie.

His story has been concocted to match with the times he thinks or knows that he might have been observed.

If someone just wants to forgive him on the basis of "poor poor Dominic being victimised" I guess that's fine, but the reality is that most 5 year olds could come up with a more plausible story.

Innocent til proven otherwise! It's so easy to stand on the podium and judge all around.

Nothing to do with the "green eyed  monster," people who have a Cavalier attitude to rules and regulations have the same attitude to all regulations.

Yeh it's not envy, it's his mum and dad's health and safety fer goodness sake, what if the thing falls on them?

Here we go again. The green eyed monster linked by the neck to the desperation to bring down BJ and the Conservative Government. They didn't succeed one way but my goodness they'll do it another. What's worse is that it is done with such glee. If this doesn't work perhaps they will find another potential skeleton in the closet. Is this really what life is all about? Is this really what we want to show the next generation?

So when was this cottage built ...

Over ten years ago  :D

johnofgwent

A building erected, or any modifications to an existing approved building, where the construction proceeds  openly without subterfuge designed to hide its existence, which then stands unchallenged by authority or neighbouring land owners for over a decade, CANNOT then be objected to.

I know this because neighbours have benefited from it. I would have too, had I not sold the house three years after the change in question which was made to all the houses in our part of the street.....

B0ycey

Javert, I can tell you categorically, if the building doesn't have planning permission, it will have to be torn down. Cash strapped or not. And the Cummings will be billed the costs.
