Not a bad start to the day

We have had the builders in to do a bit of pipework and clear all the rubbish from the bottom of the garden. And this morning the skip removal guys turned up, picked it up and knocked down the wall on the way out.

And the block in charge rushed up and said that he was terribly sorry and would have it rebuilt, whereupon I told him not to worry and that I would settle for him knocking the wall down, removing the footling and maybe digging down a foot.

The builder was well pleased and said that he would see to it.

I am even more pleased because Madam has been onto me for weeks to remove the wall and plant a row of leylandi.

So everyone is happy.
