I doubt that the Donald does anything that's not intended to benefit him, but he's had to ride out some howlers in his time. Bullying, tweets and public statements, obstruction of justice, mixing of the presidency with business dealings, etc, etc, etc, are all widely detailed in the US news media.
It can't all be fake news, can it...?

I doubt that the Donald does anything that won't  benefit him, but he certainly does not like the medical profession in general or the pharmaceutical business in particular. When he was setting up medical insurance for his employees a couple of decades ago he discovered that all the companies were putting in bids that were the same down to the last cent. Trump does enjoy a good hate and won't pass up the chance to put the boot into the drug business.

As you know, executive orders signed by trump are routinely overturned by conspirators in both houses and the judiciary.

I'm betting "occupy democrats" won't be posting about THIS on their arse book feed though...

That Trump did it at all is a surprise, especially with Tory MPs selling us all down the river voting out restraints on trade deals with America a few days ago.

I have to admit to being very surprised at Trump taking steps to lower prescription drug costs in America.

Donald Trump acts to cut prescription drug prices in US

President Donald Trump has signed four executive orders aimed at cutting prescription drug prices in the US.

"The four orders I'm signing today will completely restructure the prescription drug market," said Mr Trump, who has long criticised "astronomical" prices.

The measures would allow discounts and import of cheaper drugs from abroad.
