Pretty easy to demolish 4 out of 5 claims in that article. Myth 3 is the exception.

Myth 1: Slowing the spread of the virus is a good idea.
Although lots of people have died from covid-19, slowing the spread has prevented lots more deaths.

Myth 2: Lockdowns slow the spread.
It's clear from the widely published statistics of almost every country that lockdowns did slow the spread.

Myth 3: Contact tracing is the answer.
It will never be possible to trace every contact or to ensure that traced contacts self-isolate as they're supposed to. It's still a good idea, even if lots of contacts slip through the net.

Myth 4: BAME people are more at risk.
It seems that they are, but only slightly, if other factors are taken into account. But if they get the virus they are a more risk of serious illness or death.

Myth 5: For schools to open, pubs must close
Schools and pubs are both places where covid-19 can spread. If both types of place are open, the risk of spread is greater than if one or other is closed.
