I can no longer sustain the physical effort required to pick up.a paving slab and yomp 100 yards with it. Heart rate screams towards 200. It was not doing that in September when I started the patio rework ...

Hows it going Jog ?

Hope things are improving for you ..

Sounds like you have had a rough time of it JOG .  Everyone seems to deal with this virus differently , there  are no hard and fast rules just hope it will be better tomorrow.

I did a bit of work with some slabs for shed base a few weeks back but we have a  machine called a wheel barrow . Saves yomping (must be a Welsh word ) it 100 yards and giving yourself a heart attack .

Anyway take care

I hope I have had the Chinese bug. I have had most everything else in the last year and would hate to have missed out on the Peking Pox.

The fence in the front garden collapsed last week and I used a rather old fashioned, but still effective device known as cash to have it replaced.

Half a million Brits suffering from the Long Covid .Various symptoms the main one being ongoing fatigue .

Well Im glad in some respects that the powers to be have recognised that there is a problem . Im still unable to go to work 17 weeks after my initial infection . My GP to her credit did recognise that something was going on  and has been monitoring progress / downturns  for a couple of months .

I think , well its quite obvious now that I over did it and hit the accelerator a little too soon ,rest is the only cure Im told and no alcohol (why is it always no fecking alcohol? )

Still the weathers nice , well it is here on the edge of the Metropolis del Sol  27* and rising 35 -40 maybe tomorrow  who needs to fly anywhere . The hammocks calling time for a kip
