Steady on, Papa will be telling you that is VERY dangerous. (Seriously).

Nah. Only when you throw an empty gas canister on the bonfire and a fireball rolls across the allotment because it was in fact full. But you can't get lucky all the time

Bonfire night is one of those times when you should know better but think sod it and do it anyway.  :D

It is bloody dangerous. (Personal experience.)

Roll on firework night. I have a pile if apple tree prunings to burn and a few gas canisters to chuck on top by way of bangers.

I really hope you are not being serious about that.

Quite a few fireworks, not sure if that was for Halloween or for the remnants of Diwali.

No one dared to knock on the door.

You are probably spoilt for choice.

There aren't that many kids in my area so it is nice to be able make a fuss of those that do turn up. Roll on firework night. I have a pile if apple tree prunings to burn and a few gas canisters to chuck on top by way of bangers.

A few years ago, I decided to go to  Breton Pagan motorcycle clubs Halloween party.

On the ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff I got chatting with a few Breton truck drivers and the bar staff, and got "gifted" with a massive about of free Halloween stuff that the bar staff had not been able to give away. (The sidecar was loaded with it.)

It was much appreciated by the motorcycle club.

All quiet here too. As far as I can see houses with Halloween decorations are the ones targeted and they tend to be the ones with young children that do the rounds with friendly neighbours.

Pretty much the case here. The kids headed for the houses with pumpkins and such outside. Lot more than last year. We had gotten a few tins of sweets in but only just about kept up with demand. Good fun.

Halloween was quiet here. No sign of miniature terrorists demanding gifts with threats.

Mind you the weather was so bad I would not have gone outside for a bet.
