The problem is the fact you now have to pay money directly out of your own pocket to get an education above the age of 16 gives the ambulance chasing lawyers more scope to feast on their natural prey, the tossers who think they can sue people for non delivery of success.

They decided to spend their money in this way, nobody forced them.

Having made the decision to go during a pandemic I think they just have to go with it now .  The new intake were probably caught up in the excitement of it all  and I have some sympathies with them but those who were in their 2nd /3rd years I understand could have taken a year off ,

and should have .

Sky news seems to be pushing for Uni students to get refunds because they are in lockdown. Now I understand the sentiment but the unis are saying these kids can still access their lectures etc so I'm really sorry but I don't have a lot of sympathy. Life is tough and it's not all party party. It's a shame for them in many ways but if it's worth doing it should be worth a bit of hardship.
