We are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some of us have yachts. Some of us have canoes. Some of us are drowning.

<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

Bollocks of course. I will not support Starmer come what may. This will probably fly in one ear and out the other yet again, but I am awaiting developments on policy.

im hearing you loud and clear , and im saying its a feckin puerile limp wristed excuse. You could be sitting here forevermore trying and failing to evade criticicm of your support for new labour , blairite labour stamers labour or any feckin labour by constantly whinging you are awaiting policy development .

The party shapes the policy , not the policy the party.

Under age in America is not the same as under age in the UK.
Paedophilia is really about having sex with pre-pubescent girls. Any actual age is really a feature of law which has been decided by law makers. It varies from about 12 to 18 in various places around the world.

Indeed its a word thats thrown about by people in attempt to sensationalise and shock . In the UK its defined as a mental disorder of an attraction to children or having sex with a child under 13  (When at least 16 )  Which basically means it should not be appearing in this thread .

Actually my politics have not changed and I am just as capable of debating reasonably with people willing to do so. I am no less moderate than I ever was.
well there is a number of us on here who know you from previous who think otherwise.

While your politics in supproting labour till the day you die have not quite obviously changed , you have indeed become far more left wing , presumably because of the infection of the momentum cult which put corbyn in charge.

They did indeed , but to get to where you are now , they had to go far left from the centre they once occupied.

Starmer claims he wants to drag them backtowards the centre , and you despise him for it but will put up with it to get labour into power , where you hope tha hard left can turn these islands into some marxist hell hole.

And my policy positions have indeed not changed, so it is curious that you considered them moderate when Labour didn't espouse them, but immediately labelled them extreme when it did. Sounds like you have been played and have bought into a false narrative that you find personally convenient.
I told you he is a piece of crap that abused his position, which he has been duly removed from, he hasn't been convicted of anything but that. If you have anything stating differently, I suggest you contact the FBI.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

There are certainly grounds for reasonable suspicion in Andrew's case. The under age girl he allegedly had sex with has herself come forward. Photo evidence of him in her company has emerged in spite of him denying ever having met her. And at Epstein's place to boot. Someone whom he continued to associate with even when his crimes became known. These are reasonable grounds for suspicion and not merely thoughts in my head. And why the FBI want to speak to him, which thus far he is failing to cooperate with - which is itself suspicious.

If you are talking about Virgina Roberts she was 17 when she alleged she had sex with HRH Andrew in London . A sordid affair no doubt but not illegal .  As far as I recall the FBI want to talk to Andrew about the illegal activities of Epstein in prostitution and procuring young  (not underage ) girls   for sex . At no point has anyone suggested   Andrew did anything illegal

Thank you for confirming that he wasnt convicted of being a pedo .
He is not a convicted paedo because he has exploited his position to avoid answering any charges. But there are lots of paedos out there who are not yet convicted. They are still paedo's. Andrew has not been exonerated in any court of law, and the evidence against him is substantial.
Haven't much time for the Royals, always thought Andrew an entitled T@@@ but SW is right.......you need to look up the definition and how many times in the past have you railed against people being found guilty without trial as Borchester has pointed out what is inconvenient for you.
Well let's just say that it is my personal opinion that the evidence seems to suggest that Andrew is guilty in at least one instance of having sex with an under age girl procured for the purpose. Until or unless I see evidence that refutes that, this inevitably remains my suspicion. It is reasonable grounds.
No it isn't reasonable it's a thought in your head.
