Sheepy

I am still banned from watching it,as I shout at the TV and that just won't do.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

QT from Glasgow and not much Brexit talk. Does that mean Scotland doesn't care about the issue? Having seen their vote overturned by votes in other countries, Scottish voices completely ignored and the realisation that for 'them' Scotland just doesn't matter, it is little wonder that Independence was the main point of discussion.

The few times Brexit did come up were during the Independence discussion that took up the major part of the programme.

The programme editors of course decide which questions will be put to the panel but, to have Independence not discussed in Glasgow (a YES voting city)would have been an insult. To have more than half of the episode taken up with Independence and nothing on Brexit is very intriguing.

Does the QT experience point the way to a completely different issue leading the way in Scotland (Independence) and rUK (Brexit).

The Tories are certainly going heavy on the Indy Ref2 theme already. I received a leaflet from DROSS (a referee cum MP for Moray) and it was not saying what the Tories would do, what policies were being advanced if they won. It was how to stop Indyref2 (vote Tory) and how to keep the SNP out (vote Tory). They are running on the same anti Indy/SNP pledges that won some seats in 2017. The SNP were caught out by the Tory tactics which as well as Independence, focused on Devolved matters - the NHS, Education etc - and not what the job of an MP really entails.

BTW I thought the Tory quine was a wee bit out of her depth although, she did well to soldier on through audience laughter at her 'Boris cares about Scotland' comment. She famously did not vote at BrexRef because she couldn't make her mind up https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/news/local/angus-mearns/504054/newly-elected-angus-mp-kirstene-hair-reveals-not-vote-brexit-referendum/">https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/news/lo ... eferendum/">https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/news/local/angus-mearns/504054/newly-elected-angus-mp-kirstene-hair-reveals-not-vote-brexit-referendum/

Refuse to watch it moray , and i havent watched it for a long time.

The bbc and the general unionist media will never change , thankfully though the generations that watch and believe what the media say wether on the telly or in print are generally fading away.

I think both labour and tory are now starting to twig the modern battleground is on the interwebby.

Reading an article the other day about trump in america showing that spending millions if not more on facebook twitter and other social media platforms while his political opponents lag behind show how he is winning the pr battle.

Shows like question time are nothing more than badly  stage managed theatre and out of date  propaganda , and more and more many of the elderly are starting to see through it.
