The problem is Pappy, all these rules and regulations are very well for quiet chaps such as yourself,

My wife nearly needed Oxygen after reading that.  You really should not make assumptions.  You really have no idea about me at all. Me quiet?

There is nowhere for them to stay here and close to everything is shut.
Then there is this:-

Covid-19: Tough fines for lockdown offenders, minister warns
Published9 minutes ago
People who commit "egregious breaches" of the new lockdown restrictions in England will face steep fines, Justice Secretary Robert Buckland has warned.

Under the rules, people have been told to stay at home and non-essential shops, pubs and gyms ordered to close.

Households are also banned from mixing indoors or in private gardens, unless in a support bubble.

Currently there is a £200 fine for each breach which doubles on every offence up to a maximum of £6,400.

And organisers of large gatherings face a £10,000 fine.

The drawback is that I don't think that many folk will be taking a lot of notice. And whatever BoJo's fantasies, I have yet to see much sign of Plod enforcing the legislation. As a matter of fact, I have yet to see much sign of Plod.

The problem is Pappy, all these rules and regulations are very well for quiet chaps such as yourself, but the police know that after months of the antics of Boris and the rest of his mates on the fun prevention league, the most likely result is that the public response is less likely to be acquiescence and or most likely a mega V sign.

It was interesting to hear the concerns in the HofC debate today about loss of freedoms and questions as to whether the Government had that right and if they did how it could be mis-used in the future by a less than democratic government.

That's exactly what my concern was back in February - luckily I remembered to put up my blackout blinds and obey the curfew.

Sheepy

This care in the community can get a bit wearing Barry.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

Once again you wish death on politicians.
You have perverse morals.

If you think I am alone you really do need to expand your circle of friends and acquaintances.

I'm not sure that will make much difference the way things looked last night.

They aren't allowed here either, the regulations are specific.

12. Staying away from home overnight
Overnight stays and holidays away from primary residences will not be allowed- including holidays in the UK and abroad. This includes staying in a second home or caravan, if you own one, or staying with anyone you do not live with or are in a support bubble with.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Did you see pictures of the traffic jams out of London last night as people decided to try and escape the lock down in the capital? I hate to tell you but they aren't allowed in Wales so I guess they could all have headed your way.

What bit of I am clinically extremely vulnerable did you not understand.  It is serious issue you childish idiocy is NOT appreciated.
I should now be able to take a recreational ride on my motorcycle in safety IF the madding crowd of badly behaved tourists have buggered of back to whence they came.

OK — but at least you were remembered by the system as someone who's vulnerable. It doesn't matter who signed it. The one a relative read out to me this evening also had contact number(s) for help if required...

Just a pity the test, track, and trace system is not so efficient.  I got the email within 20 minutes of the lock down vote being won.

I have just receive by email :- new guidance for clinically extremely vulnerable people, (Me.)

Printed out it is 13 pages of A4.  It has nothing in it different to what I have been doing since March.
The only difference is it was sent by MATT HANCOCK
Secretary of State for Health and Social Care

ROBERT JENRICK
Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government

Neither of whom inspire me with with any confidence.

Well just ignore it then and get your self out and about.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
