I think he is talking about that Cornish paper we were given a link to on here a while back.

Only remember the Metro — though it could be the Pastie Print Inquirer...

Which local newspaper and which website, and is it showing only the DWP advertisement or is it reporting on the complaints and ASA findings...?

PS: Am I wrong to expect the excuse that you're prohibited from identifying the website for some reason or another...?

A local newspaper may have to remove one of those DWP "advertisements" from their website.

Was that the thing you were telling us about the other day where you filed a complaint yourself?

Anyway, top result. I'm sick of the government spending poor unemployed people's income on propaganda to them.

Other the ASA are too polite in their critique of the DWP this is a fantastic result especially at the star of general elections campaign:-

Ciaphas

I would speculate that the Conservatives were hoping to mitigate some of the electoral fallout from their disasterous implimentation of Universal Credit by spreading misinformation.

Not so much to influence those on the receiving end of their policies but rather those voters who find such treatment of people distasteful and may be driven to support other parties.

Looks like that plan has backfired since not only do they treat benefit claimants with utter contempt but they have been caught lying about it.
