In all likelihood, it will be a sellout by the children in govt and assorted sycophants wishing for the paternalistic govt to tell them how to think, when a sellout is sold as a 'great deal'.

As JoG noted in detail elsewhere, Boris is a remainer through and through and there's no refuting that.

Well I think it would be fairer to say I think Boris is the sort of man who will hitch a lift on anyone's bandwagon.

He has been a chum of arch europhile Bullingdon Club pals and even has a matching uniform but you'll get busted if his lawyers find you've used the photograph of him in it, as opposed to the artists impression of it that newsnight commissioned so as to avoid a copyright lawsuit ...

But sometime around 2015 he decided to nail his colours to the lie on the bus and refused to change it, making him and it a figure of fun.

I really have no idea what Boris thinks beyond the ability to bend the nearest female of shaggable quality over the nearest tun, except that it is generally tempered by his analysis of where he needs to stand to be swept along and put in his salary and expense claim as he does do....

I don't think any UK goverment will actually aim for a "no deal". It is not in a politicians nature to remove themselves from power.

But I certainly hope they fail to get one.
The goal is to remove their political ability to interfere with us.

So you don't want a deal with a country or EU that threatens UK sovereignty.  You had better tell Johnson that because he's signed you up to a deal with Japan that has stricter rules on state aid when compared to the "level playing field" provisions tabled in the UK/EU talks.

I'm not convinced that Johnson won't go for No Deal.

A huge chunk of the disruption is going to happen regardless of a deal or not.

He has cover for some of the disruption (in terms of job losses, trade losses, GDP hit etc) in the form of CV. "Covid" will be the new "diesel"

Regardless of deal or no deal we will be back to the negotiation table in the new year, and for many years to come.

If he goes for a deal *everyone* will hate him.

If he goes for no deal, he will at least keep the "I can eat sovereignty" brigade on side.

T00ts is usually right - they are talking of a vote on 28th December. Nothing like keeping the pressure on.
When is the 6-12 months extension being announced?

Probably about the same time as the implementation of martial law as a necessary requisite of COVID19 control but actually required to stop a civil war.

Stop rambling on behalf Sir Starmer Dyno, the grown ups are talking.

Which excludes you, stop butting in and demanding attention like a needy child.

There will of course need to be an extension because well business just ain't ready, as Gove said himself, this is a business Brexit, which means what Brexit?
I guess nobody fancies taking the rap then.

What you think I don't know the only way you think you can show how clever you are is by insulting those trying to help. Borchester said you are just a kid and best ignored when you were insulting Toots, now if I wanted to insult you, I would say something like, does he mean mental age or physical age.

Well, it would be an insult to a 4 year old on the mental age bit..

..Yours that is, comparatively speaking.

You can't even understand simple humour or when someone is pushing back against an argument as opposed to insulting someone, which is how it was with toots.

I understand you have nothing better to do than follow me around the field with empty bleating one or two liners, but it gets boring, like, find something better to do than hanging on to my every word. Also you sound like a bot recently. Silly sheep. :D

... I put great faith in the sunday sport coming true myself.

Speaking as one with an inkling of the genetic engineering required, I am sad to say no-one can have  tits that big. There is a difference between requiring the engineering skills of a reclusive aviator to defy gravity (yes, I KNOW Mansfield did not use the device Hughes designed for her in the film in question) and requiring gravity to be cancelled out lest the spine be seriously compromised ....
