:D

I've been completely shit faced with alcohol poisoning. Does that count?
Only if it wasn't done to avoid paracetamol poisoning

I am grateful that I am alive. I have never been dead but I am not sure that I would enjoy it, so I will stick with what I have.
Tried it briefly, twice. Can't see what all the fuss is about, myself

The Christmas lights have just packed up. They were only solar powered and not having much in the way of Old Sol in the last few days I can understand them giving up the Ghost. I will have to get some new batteries when I schlepp off to get the Christmas tree
The Christmas lights, like the tree, are very much still in the boxes they will stay in until December.

That I am alive and relatively well? Its the small things really, isn't it? Without health, what is anything else worth?

As for smiles, I try to raise a laugh or two every day, although it goes over a few heads on here (not yours though, gorgeous  ;) ). Humour and laughter is the best medicine known to man

Quite a few houses around me have got Christmas lights up already. I'm told that it's to try and cheer everyone up. Christmas for me  happens the week before the big day normally and I am not about to join the masses in bringing that forward. It started me thinking what am I grateful for. What makes me happy.

Don't get me started on Christmas lights.  I am grateful I am mortgage free in these troubled times.
