Bloody good show.

Seriously. The only animals that need be moved are breeding stock and these days a test tube, some ice and a turkey baster should sort even that ...

Not in all cases. Pedigree animals worth many £thousands, have always been treated like royalty when transported live abroad. It is a specialist job.
Personally I have always been against animals being transported live long distances for slaughter within Britain let alone abroad.
That situation was made worse when many small abattoirs  were closed because of regulations some years ago.

The problem as I have said for years is sloppy labelling. There is a market in shipping animals thousands of miles because the EU does not restrict the butchers definition of local meat. So the transporters make money by saving on freezer trucks at the expense of the animal welfare. And various EU countries get to pretend the meat trucked breathing and slaughtered locally has lived there for years...

Carrie Symonds has Dominic Cummings put down as humanely as possible, is a confirmed Brexiter and will end the export of live animals.

What is there not to like about her?

Carrie for PM !!

Remember when the remainers were on country file BBC telling us we wouldn't keep up high standards in farming practices if we left the EU?
The UK has been the instigator of good and caring practices over the years. We are the leaders, the EU dragged this down.
As they also continue to allow bullfighting, throwing goats off buildings and other weird traditions showing cruelty to animals in mostly Southern Europe.
