Captain Adenoids certainly isn't going to change anything for the good.

2021 and they still haven't ever had a female leader, and to me that speaks volumes about the internal workings of the party.

Oh but they HAVE. They appointed Harriet Hate Men as their leader while they grubbed round for a new one, and her spputings about everyone except middle class middle age heterosexusl married white men being given the job interviews showed where labour would go if she stayed at the helm.

Funny thing was she didn't express those feelings when her other half applied for the union leaders job ....

apparently george galloway is touting gordon brown for a comeback and future labour leader in scotland. I have been laughing about that all morning.

My cousin used to live in his old constituency , and she said he jumped before he was pushed as he was that hated by the local residents.

Well nick its snowing  , not much is happening except covid hysteria , but at least you can always rely on labour and their supporters for a bit of a giggle on a sleepy saturday lunchtime.

Exactly nick , but what actual relevance are labour today?

Eventually i think they are going to disappear as a party , they certainly can't continue as they are.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Like we keep saying Tom, the Tories don't need to beat Labour, they beat them selves from within. Keeps us entertained anyway 😂

Poor auld ricky leopard has gone , what a shame. I was hoping he would lead labour into the elections.

On a serious note though , im hearing starmer and the blairites are now doing a reversal of what corbyn did , and starting the purge of scottish labour of any and all socialists , and replacing them with blairites.

Anus sarwar looking favourite to replace ricky.

in fighting kicking off again.

Once again i point out it was the blairites under milliband who destroyed labour in scotland , not corbyn , and starmer as ever looking to carry on making the same inept political judgements from his ivory tower in london that has dogged him for most of his political career.

QuoteRichard Leonard quits as Scottish Labour leader

Richard Leonard has resigned as Scottish Labour leader, saying it is in the best interests of the party for him to stand down.

Mr Leonard said he believed speculation about his leadership had become a "distraction".

And he said he would be stepping down with immediate effect.

His resignation comes just months ahead of the Scottish Parliament election, which is scheduled to be held in May.

Mr Leonard had been leader of the party for three years after succeeding Kezia Dugdale.

The former union official had faced open calls to quit from some of his own MSPs last year amid concerns that his leadership style could damage the party in the forthcoming Scottish Parliament election.

QuoteBut Labour MSP Neil Findlay, an outspoken supporter of Mr Leonard, took aim at those who had sought to oust him last year - describing them as "flinching cowards" and "sneering traitors"
