Do you use all or most of the bells and whistles on electronic devices?

I've not yet worked out the radio programme selector (and probably a lot more) on the car's multifunctional "multimedia communications and entertainment system". Too many unnecessary functions in my view.
Also discarded many apps on my iPhone...

New Freesat recorder arrive yesterday. Now set up and running.
It has however a lot more "bells and whistles," than the previous one.
(The ball and chain stayed up late used the "Catch Up," program and boxed sets for the programs she had missed.

There are at least 10 extra pages in the manual full of new functions that I will never use.
